Industrial Hearing Tests within London and the South East
Any employer with workers exposed to noise at or above 85 dB(A) must provide hearing health surveillance under the Control of Noise at Work Regulations 2005. In London and the South East, this commonly applies to printing and packaging operations, food production and processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, construction, and logistics warehousing. While the South East is not traditionally seen as a manufacturing region, there are significant noise-generating operations across Kent, Essex, and the Thames corridor.
